As a southsider I'm surrounded by Starbucks coffee shops. It's like the scene from The Simpsons where Bart goes into a mall and there are hundreds of Starbucks around lol

My question is is there any good coffee shops around and that doesn't cost €5 a cup lol

Now I like strong, black coffee atm but am leaning on Flat Whites as well..€5!!! I doubt I've paid more than €4 anytime recently. Anywhere.

Try a matcha green tea latte, filled with antioxidants, energy booster, immune booster, low calorie. Only a couple of yoyos in munchies

There is a bubble tea place in town. I saw it recently and it brought Me back about ten years when it was absolutely everywhere in the states.

I've tried to make it at home but it certainly didn't taste like hit chocolate! Any tips?

It was a fruity, colourful cold tea drink with these balls of tapioca rolling around in the bottom that you could suck up the extra wide straw to chew. Strange I know.

Almond milk for the latte element and it should taste like white chocolate not dark or mil chocolate

Dunboyne & Dublin

Don't know if they're still around but Coffee Society were in Ranelagh and city centre. Always preferred them to Starbucks. Better coffee and about €2.50 a cup. I even used to buy their beans off them, it was that good!

Bewleys Gold Roast 3 or 5 is great at home.

If anyone does find a Coffee Society, please PM me. I miss their beans, a lot!

I don't like the coffee of Starbucks, and I prefer a place with more identity what i can't feel in Starbucks or any similar coffee. I enjoy a lot Nick coffee in ranelagh cheap and good with great vibe... Sometimes it's not the coffee but the place and the feeling you get over there.
