The definition of true beauty is being comfortable in your own skin. It's having confidence in yourself even if you don't meet the standards of how other's expect you to look!

True beauty is the ability to love yourself and all the Flaw's you come with...you are merely human.

When you love and respect yourself and wear your confidence, everyone else will see it...it is the best outfit you will ever rock.

Come on fab people, say something nice about yourself... let's make this a feel good Friday. Kicking it off with... I love how my smile crinkles up my eye's when I am laughing hard

Keep it positive folk's...we are sometimes our own harshest critics and we have proven on the threads that we can all be insensitive to other's at time's...humour me please. Madame B xxx

I love this forum post.

I'm on a journey to love myself and my body. I've had a lot of trouble with this after growing up and hearing my mam (who's anorexic) talk about her body in a negative way I found it difficult to like the way I look. I've drank laxative teas and starved myself until I realised that it's not the life I want for MY daughter and I needed to teach her to be body positive.

I'm proud of my body because I carried a baby and breastfed for over 2 years.

I like my eyes and the fact I still look quite pretty without makeup.

Morally I'm a good person and try not to intentionly hurt others and I love that about myself.

Personality wise I'm nice (

), respectful and polite with a hatred of injustice, a weird sense of humour and an honesty that comes across as blunt. I prefer to build people up rather than knock them down but I don't suffer fools gladly and when I say No, I mean it. I also pride myself on being very fair, even when it's not in my own best interest. Is that positive or just descriptive?

This is a great post but on reading I noticed so many people say what compliments other people have given them or what other people say is nice. "I've been told". What about what you think of yourself?? I think it's an Irish thing that people dnt want to sound cocky or lovE themselves.

I love my eyes. I consider myself a great friend. I'm honest. I'm great at listening and people find it easy to talk to me.

I love my eyes. I consider myself a great friend. I'm honest. I'm great at listening and people find it easy to talk to me.

I love this reply...you nailed it. It's like telling the person that compliments your dress... it's from penny's! It is an Irish thing to downplay what is great about ourselves for fear of getting above our station.

So many great replies above and such raw honesty....thank you fabbers and well done to those that have overcome tough obstacles to get to a place where they feel good in their own skin. Our past shapes us but doesn't define us... I grew up under extreme negativity and unfairness and I am grateful for that as they are two of the thing's I have turned around in my life as a result.

Silver lining in all situations if you look hard enough. I have instilled a sense of fairness and a positive attitude in myself and my children as a direct result.

If my personality was an outfit then I say it's designer baby lol

I list my sense of fairness and positivity and my ability to find humour in any situation as my top traits after that everything else is a bonus. Have a happy Monday and fab week guy's and gal's X
