AirBnB for meets

Does anyone think an AirBnB might be a viable alternative to hotels for meeting?

Hard to say. Even if you got to book an entire house, the owners might not want a party in it, and they might be close by to see how many people are calling. Some places could be a good alternative, but I feel they might be in the minority.

Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria

Hire a cottage, there are plenty available and rates are cheaper now we are out of summer season, some in beautiful quiet places wher you wont be disturbed and can sleep numerous people. Jusy google cottages to rent.
