Just read an interesting article saying Louis Theroux's new film on Scientology is likely not to get a release here in case it falls foul of our archaic law.

Anyone else think it's time this ridiculous law is removed?

Ridiculous just as much as for the fact that Scientology can somehow call itself a religion. What a con.

Scientology isn't really a religion, it was a self help method that l Ron Hubbard renamed as a religion for tax exemption in the States. If it was a movie about pope laws might apply but it would still be shown. Scientology isn't just a cult of personality it has its fingers in so many pies. They have influence and power that rivals the catholic church 50 years ago...
