in London *a long time*.

I'm feeling weirdly homesick.

I never get this way.

Is it the approach of rainy days, dark evenings and open fires making me want to fly back?!

I'm just setting the most beautiful open fire with logs turf and coal. When it starts getting dark I'm going to organise some rain and wind.

Fly home to me Harlot and complete the picture and I'll help you with your Home Sickness.

I lived in the UK for 5 years. Never really embraced London. Always felt like a depressing, tense, stressy, sad place for me. Even the good times seemed tainted by the soul-lessness of the city and the indifference and coldness of the people. I know lots of English people who hate it too.

I embrace the soulless.

I actually like the way London lives and breathes.

Perhaps I'm an innate city girl.

I was away for about 10 years to England, north west mostly, but i never really got a sense of homesickness... I was most gutted about leaving my GAA club behind.

Ive been back in the North for about 6 months and things havent worked out, and im more than happy to move back to England.

Dunboyne & Dublin

Was there for 10yrs and mostly loved it. Had a much more FAB sex life there too!

Is the Mean Fiddler still going? Used to be brilliant Saturday night and sometimes Sunday morning. Coal Pits in Kilburn I also have fond memories of. Then the O'Neill's and similar pckged Irish pub chains started and cheapened the whole thing.

Glad you are still enjoying it after so long and sure this place here is updating but the people will remain the same, so you know what to expect on any visit
