The Manbeast is a cold blooded creature, therefore thrives in a warm climate.

Cold blooded creatures such as Manbeasts have fur for protection purposes not to maintain body heat. The fur of a Manbeast is also inflammable and has been quite attractive to poachers and illegal hunters.
