Not a fan of the show, but fair dues to them .. Lost 2 and a half stone this year so far using a slimming world plan ( put 7lb back on over a six week holiday ) Back on the plan this week and lost 3lb so far

I suppose the aim of the show is creating awareness and if it Spurs people to do something about their weight and lifestyles then it can only be a good thing

Damn right, more a doer than a watcher (more or less). I've always had this image of that show as fat people at home watching fat people work out and it all leaves a figuratively bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'm wrong... but it's definitely not for me.

I think it's brilliant, it's not something I've sat down and watched but I think it's great for people to see that it is possible to lose weight and it might motivate some and if it does brilliant. I lost a stupid amount of weight a few years back (even if I've put some back on) but I used to use their workout routines that they post on the website at home which is there when the show isn't running.
