cupping theraphy

Anyone ever try cupping theraphy? Or would try, just curious about it, or where i cud try it, love too try new things,ideas,

It works but don't go to the gym for a week or two you will be black and blue . Really helps blood circulation and draws out impurites. Most good massage therapists do cupping either on its own or part of a massage

For me it was immediately sore but just relief afterwards so I wasn't too sore afterwards. But I do have good pain threshold

Well it can't b any worse than the pain of childbirth, i had 2 boys, thanks for telling me anyway, i wud say the part when they remove the cups is painful is it?

Yes the moving of them over the sore area is the worst part.i would definitely do it again though as it gets to the pain super fast

Its a chinese theraphy, they heat the cups and place each one on your back, leave them for a bit, then remove them,

I agree. I had it done recently on my neck to my shoulder. Tbh I'd no idea how bruised it would leave me, I had 3 perfect circle bruises but definately did the trick.

I saw your thread yesterday and commented but the thread was removed. Im only assuming that it was because you posted a link as a thread title

Anyway... the benefit of cupping is to remove stagnant blood from injuries,ill use muscle injuries as an example where blood can remain from torn muscle etc. Cupping draws the stagnant blood to the surface of the skin allowing oxegen and fresh blood to heal the damaged muscle. Impurities and toxins are flushed away by the oxegenised blood into the liver to dispose of them, giving a sense of well being, feeling energized and less lethargic.

It was in the news a bit during the Olympics because people were wondering what the circular marks on Michael Phelps' body were - they were the result of cupping therapy. Lots of other athletes seems to have them as well. If it's good enough for Michael Phelps ...

Personally I prefer the type of cupping that involves wrapping your arms and body around a woman
