I have had a verification show on my profile status 5 hours ago which didn't happen.

The weird thing is I never received a verification message ? It just showed up on my profile ?

Now ordinarily this wouldn't be a problem but the guy I've been meeting wasn't too impressed when I innocently said "no I haven't met anyone today" !!! And clearly thinks I'm fibbing! As would I!

How can that happen ?

If you're on a lappy/pc then theres a contact box at the bottom of the page.

No idea if you're o na phone tho

If u go to the home page down at the bottom it's says contact click on that, u can contact admin there

If you receive a veri, it doesn't go straight to your list of verifications. You have to choose to put it up there.

Yes I know that but I did not get an actual verification to read or accept. It just appeared on my profile overview thingy.

Plus I actually haven't met anyone so I'm stumped. Will contact admin later this morning. Thanks

Some guy must for verified u then blocked u . It wouldn't show up on your list he must have done it then blocked u

If you're using the chrome browser on your iPhone, select the browser menu, then select the request desktop page.

The web page should reload as if it where on your PC. Obviously you will have to zoom in and out etc...

Hope that helps.

Just out of curiosity ...What business was it of the guy you were meeting? Its none of his business who you meet or how many veris you have ?

Awk he's a cool guy and I actually think it I had of said yes I did meet a guy today he would have been ok. But it's the fact I have denied it without knowing about the verification that he had seen. Obviously makes me look like a fibber.

It seems the only way you can actually contact admin is to report a user.... And I can't see who left the verification to report them. It's just strange.

Anyway enough time spent thinking about it. As long as the mystery man thinks I'm amazing it's all good! Haha

Figured it out.

So the guy I've been meeting just got a message (from Another deleted account) saying I was a Liar and had obviously been meeting another guy yesterday.

Now my verifications are hidden so how would anyone know who the guy was???? Unless they seen my veri on his profile!

So my conclusion is some bird has ruffled feathers. Has set up an account in a mans name. Verified me and deleted account straight away so I can't see message.

Not only is that mental but it's also pretty stupid to then message him.

Anyway Sorry for boring you all with this sad tail.

Message to whoever has all time on their hands "get a life and go have a shag"

What's worrying me is why it's annoying you so much still. If he doesn't believe you or trust you it's his loss. You know you haven't had any meets. Don't think getting the number of veris changed by admin will change that.

I think this is a crazy situation to be part of but I get that you don't want to be viewed as a liar. I trust you are doing this for you and not being answerable to a guy as in or out of fab that is not a good position to be in.

sounds like a lot of trouble to go to to cause you anguish here , safe to say that someone is unhappy with you or your original meet to be arsed doing that .All you can do is stick to your truth , and if thats not enough for your original meet , then wish him the best and move on.

I know. I genuinely only tried to contact admin last night as I was confused as to how it could happen.

No I'm not answerable to anyone but I wouldn't deny meeting someone if I had. As I can do what and who I like as can he.

I'm not thinking about it anymore. Drama over and hopefully that sad person moves on. Crazy bitch that she is.

Got a phantom veri ..never accepted it never saw it but it has appeared in my summary.

Don't really care tbh but someone is obviously trying to be an irritant lol.

Presumably, the person who is sending these false verifications has a regular profile on here too? If that's the case, can they be removed for falsely verifying someone? We've all seen the warning when we leave a verification, so do admin actually follow through with that?

If they view you in stealth mode you won't see who is viewing you so paying won't help ;-(

I'm on a fab break but 2fab friends who I'd met at a social ages ago verif me recently. I hid the verifs but I did get few messages from Fabbers asking to meet etc & when I mentioned I was on break, they (guys & cpls) were near interrogating me as to why I'm saying I'm on break but still getting verifs & been not so nice.
