Ireland is a wonderful place to live. We have relatively low crime and beautiful scenery. By comparison to other parts of the world we have a pretty good thing going on here. Don't get me wrong however. We have problems too...

One of our problems is our society has a very "traditional" view of sex. We are struggling out of a repressive world. It wasn't too long ago that le piat d'or was the ultimate in sophisticated society, that page 3 was something To be ashamed of looking at and the parish priest could get you off murder. Literally. Religion has played a horrible part in our history. Im going to leave that messy crap alone. But i will say that religion has given us the "gift" of sexual repression and the derogation of women.

From good old Catholic guilt to good old presbyterian denial of pleasure we were told sex was a sin. If sex is for making life, then masturbation was basically killing a potential baby for a man. Masturbation for a woman was an even more wicked sin. A man cheating on his wife was always tempted away by wicked temptress. You get the picture.

This has left our society with a very negative view on sex and women. We are very goal focused during sex. Cumming seems to be what we always aim for. We have forgotten that it's the journey that's important not the destination. It's changing but we need it to change more.

Look at yourself. When you are having sexy time, try to do something different. Make it last, make it fun. Think about what you can do to make it better for your partner that doesnt involve your own genitals
