sparrow hawk

I know that birds may not be swingers but this morning a sparrow hawk was trying to attack my pet birds in my aviary,has this ever happened to you as it's the first time I have seen one in my garden .

The sparrowhawk aka accipiter nisus is a small bird of prey and loves nothing more than feasting on small birds.

It's nature buddy

You may be confusing the Sparrowhawk with the Lesser spotted Burglar bird...

I was actually attacked by a few vultures this morning. Lucky enough i was able to fight them off.
