People hide them for all sorts of reasons. There's lots of good reasons to hide them on here and there's a few less good. There will as many reasons for each one that hides theirs. A green tick, the green arrow and the good friends one gets on here is what is more important. | |||

I display my latest veris for a wee while to prove I'm genuine and active ... As to my summary .. That's my business .. Plus might scare some people lol lol .. But seriously .. It's my business as to who & how many I've met .. As for the green flag .. Yes it shows photo verified .. and you have to have your user name and date in writing with a face pic .. So think that could be genuine .. But I agree .. Some veris could be fake .. I was chatting a while to a guy .. He sent me face pic .. Then wanted me to verify him !!!!!! .. So some veris could be fake .. Most of the time I go on gut instinct .. So far I've been lucky and met very genuine people whom most I call friends now ( of course with benefits ! Lol ) ... Many seem to fail to understand that if someone chooses to filter out people for whatever reason then it's their choice. Its valid whether one agrees with it or not. To say it's their loss is a bit childish. It's no one's loss if they don't want something. It's only a loss if that's what you're wanting but can't have it....and there seems to be an element of that permitting through many of these threads. | |||

I have loads of veri's because of all the socials I go to & if somebody blocks me for that reason & somebody did with me actually but hey, that's fine, that's their perogative & on the other hand if somebody decides to meet me despite all the veri's well then that's jolly good lol!!!!
But if you're going to be getting jealous about it & getting abusive at every opportunity on the forums just because a person met Y person instead of yourself....... well then that's a sad case of affairs...... be the better person & accept it instead of getting all narky about it........ block the person if necessary & move on.....
