Snowballs. Grandparents used to buy it for me every sat nite in the pub from age of about 4. I don't think they realised there was alcohol in them.

First alcoholic drink was a mouthful of Haig Scotch Whiskey, when I was 10. Very nearly a case of curiosity killing the cat, when I spat it into the fire because I didn't like the burning sensation. Needless to say, I got a rapid introduction to the combustible properties of alcohol and lost my eyebrows in the process.

First alcoholic drink with the intention of getting d*unk came two years later. Via my parents drinks cabinet again. A wonderful concoction we pleasantly called a pig mix. Which was a mix of whiskey, congnac, vodka & gin. Mixed together with Coke. Tasted disgusting but did the trick.

Guinness when I was a kid.

Used to put a bit of sugar in it to get round the bitterness.

First taste of alcohol was probably when I was 6, me and dad always went swimming and he'd go to the pub after with his friends, I often snuck a sip of beer cause I wanted the froth. I didn't realise it was alcoholic and my parents didn't complain when a sip or two of it sent me to bed no questions asked at 9.

First time someone offered me an actual drink was at a Christmas do with family in Sweden. Someone passed me Akvavit for a toast, I took a sip at the first part of the toast, nearly coughed it up, after all the toasting was over my uncle passed me a cup of beer and told me to drink that to get rid of the aftertaste if i didn't like it. I was 13 and needless to say I was very merry after that.
