Hopefully Diaz wins

He seems to have a better attitude and I respect him more. Conor has just made people think worse about Irish people with his cocky and narcissistic attitude.

Not my type of person at all.

If they stay on their feet McGregor knocks him out if it goes to ground Diaz will win so hopefully McGregor's doesn't stumble to the ground from the first decent punch he gets hit with like the last fight

Couldn't disagree more. If 'your own' is someone who is disrespectful to more than just ufc fighters and has a negative impact on people view Irish people I don't see why they deserve my support.

People are people, I don't favour because of stats, I favour who I truly believe deserves to win.

He isn't disrespectful towards other fighters, both in victory and in defeat he's extremely gracious and respectful. He hypes the fights up and plays mind games and yes he's that most heinous of things to Irish people, self confident. He's a showman, like Ali was, would you say Ali was disrespectful?

If and its a big if, he beats Diaz, that in itself would demand respect. Not many fighters in any form will go up two weight divisions and win.

The only way McGregor can win this fight is by boxing clever. He needs to stay away from Diaz as much as possible. Stay on his feet and avoid too many spin kicks. He won't approach this fight as a sprint, more like a marathon. Were if he can reach the finish line, he's in with a shout.

I'm not sure if you watch much mma but the Diaz brothers are known for there shit talking they were the first people to try and get in people's head before fights, long before mcgregor came into the ufc. Saying that Conor took it too another level but he if you watch interviews with him outside of fight promotion he doesn't act like a prick haha you need to act like that to make money in the sport.

Saying all that he's getting choked out in round 4 or 5

Great fight, knew conor would win but around the forth it was looking like he was knackered and going to go the same as the last fight. Great to see him using his head at the start and picking him off. Wouldnt like to be diaz's right leg today.lol. hes hard as nails tho, def watching that fight again today, with a little less cursing and screaming.

Have you been following him at all? He goes on rants about wrestling stars and how pathetic they are, disrespting how far they've come and had to train to get where they are.

You'd think with his past he'd show some respect for other athletes and entertainers, but no.

He's cocky and it's all real ego, he's only gracious in defeat to hide his embarrassing behaviour up to the fight and to let his ego rest until he gets the courage to have a go at someone else.

Pity he wasn't kicked on his ass again. As I said previously. I wouldn't support someone who I feel doesn't deserve it and all of those fighters have had to come a long way. Conor being Irish doesn't make him the most deserving. Equality/fairness for all I see all people in the same light without favoritism because of which country they were born in.

Ali was hated for his lip and mouth but proved he walked the walk . Connor is the same and after this win he's proved he's not afraid to take on others at different weights. After this fight you could see from him the respect he has for Diaz.

No, you're just using that comment to divert the fact that I just presented a fact that Diaz is technically still ahead of Conor despite the 1-1 so far and you don't want to accept it.

Therefore I sense the sour grapes may be on the other side of the table

His talk, disrespect to others, show boating and basically being a knob before the fights is all for show, ofcourse some are going to hate the fecker, but all his talk, backing it up by taking any fight that will see him paid stupid money shows hes got his head screwed on well. Ill admit that i hated him before he got close to winning his first title but by fuck did he deserve it. Backed up his talk all the way then stepped up in weight which in mma is not easy. And what is your opinion on him starting on other professionals in different professions and disrespting them and their rise to success, not knowing anything about them? It brings nothing to his fight or profession.

It's called being an asshole in my opinion and why Irish people praise it shows their idiocy. They would frown on an English fighter who would do the same. Hypocrisy at its finest.

"He talked the talk and he walked the walk all that shit talk ur talking about he can back it up !!!

Well he lost the first match so it's even now, he barely got through on this fight and tapped out in the first, so Diaz is still ahead.

Do I sense sour grapes lol....

No, you're just using that comment to divert the fact that I just presented a fact that Diaz is technically still ahead of Conor despite the 1-1 so far and you don't want to accept it.

Therefore I sense the sour grapes may be on the other side of the table "

Defo you have sour grapes ...did you watch the fight at all or maybe your a bit jealous that Conor has done so well for himself

"Hopefully Diaz wins

He seems to have a better attitude and I respect him more. Conor has just made people think worse about Irish people with his cocky and narcissistic attitude.

Not my type of person at all.

spot on mate, i thought i was the only one in Ireland who whats him to get beat again! cant stand his attitude towards other fighters

All fighters have a persona..even if you dont like him hes Irish support your own

Hes done more for promoting mma than any other fighter in the sport ever. Deserves the credit today, and he def done the country proud

And what is your opinion on him starting on other professionals in different professions and disrespting them and their rise to success, not knowing anything about them? It brings nothing to his fight or profession.

He done it plain and simple for publicity, its a sport , he seems to do it all to get people talking about him and it has worked well for him. Most people with either love him or hate him, u seem to have a massive hump with him tho , no need for the general insults

Mcgregor won. End of

Great fight. Fair result. Mcgregor got the cleaner head shots where diaz often was swinging wild

At least it was a great fight after all the hype and bullshit because really it had no place in ufc. Ok the first fight because of dos antos got injured and diaz stepped in but this second fight was just to satisfy mcgregors ego,the ufc effectively hold the world title belts in all mma and have lots of genuine featherweight contenders waiting for a chance at the belt. He should have defended it twice by now

No im just pointing out that anyone else who did this, Irish people would have the same opinion as myself but they become hypocrites when an Irish person does the same thing. I don't have the hump at all, I've been reasonable in presenting facts.

I do love how everyone else gets the hump and tries to say it's me though, I'm the only one stating facts. "he's Irish" is everyone else's argument lol

That sounds exactly like what you just did, making it personal it's a sad pathetic attempt for someone getting wound up by losing a debate.

I never once disagreed with the fact that he won 1 fight against Diaz. You also ignored that fact that you starting taking personal jabs at me and tried to hide it by ignoring my reply. you should try to take more responsibility for how you act and apologise.
