Did you ever send an embarrassing txt to the wrong person, I once sent a text to my friend saying that I didn't think things where working out with me and my then boyfriend and that I was going to break up with him when we got back from our Spanish holiday, but I sent it to him instead of her....needless to say it was an awkward holiday to start off with but by the second week we had worked things out and decided to give it another shot.

Nope but I got one from a girl who thought she was sending it to her boyfriend,she was taking great pride in the new lingerie describing what she had bought in the sex shop today and what time was he coming home at she wanted to show it off to him

I politely replied

I think u send this to the wrong number but I hope he enjoy's her new purchases and to let me know how she got on

Her reply was all apologies and how embarrassed she was but knew he like her little show

I thought to my self this girl is game for a laugh so the following morn I text her

Well did he come home fast and show his appreciation for ur thoughtfully purchases I hope it went down well

Like lightening her reply came back

It went down very well indeed and so did I till he lost control and ripped them off me

I never found out who she was but she has my number in her phone for some reason

and it bugs me that if she knows me she knows of our crossed wires and can look at me and say to her self I drove him mad horny one night

If ur on here lingerie girl call me I'd love to hear more

To start with I need to say I wouldn't childmind someones kids while she went back to work - not a relative or really even a friend. She asked me and I laughed and said 'who'd ask me to look after their kids - have you not seen how mine have turned out'. she stopped talking to me.

One night in the pub a couple of years later me and my friend were saying we were always the last to hear the gossip.

The following day by pure chance I heard some. so text her and said 'you'll never guess what!' and went into detail.

Unfortunately my friends name and the one I was on about were next to one another on my phone - you can guess the rest

I was in the pub again at the time - but this time with my husband, who was the least gossipy person in the world. Her husband was sitting 5 foot from us

I had to explain to my husband what I'd done. He told me off - she told me off in texts. The husband looked daggers at me - but didn't dare say a word cos my husband was there. Phew.

6 months ago didn't she move into my very small street.

We don't talk - or even acknowledge each other lol

Ha, deffo sounds like something I would do. I actually lost a good friend in another similar error. I'd been messaging a guy called Sean and sending him naughty pics. I was out for a few drinks with my friend and was more than tipsy. When she was going to the toilet I had been sending saucy messages to Sean and pics but unfortunately my friend had been talking about her hubby who had a similar name. I had his number on my phone because he was on our neighborhood committee and I accidentally in my d*unken haze sent him a pic I didn't realize my error until he txt her the pic and she went ballistic at me. I tried to explain but she was having none of it and we haven't spoken since. I would never go near a friends man and she should've known that so my feelings are that it was her loss

Push notifications on phones are a bit of a nightmare for this. I've replied to the wrong conversation a few times by clicking on the push notification, while going to reply to Simone else. Nothing disastrous yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
