I was going great guns at the start and met some really nice guys along the way.

Last few months not so great. So have been rethinking my strategy in leading up to a meet.

Like the previous OP I have considered deleting profile too.

I would like to know in detail what other Fabbers do leading up to a meet.

Do you always have a quick meet and greet first and then decide if you want to meet again for fun. Or do you feel comfortable enough to go straight to fun on a first meet?

Everyone has a way that works for them. We have done spur of the moment meets with well verified guys and girls but generally we don't. We prefer to meet at a party or social setting with no pressure to play unless we are attracted. Also we never meet couples impromptu because very hard to find a couple we both find attractive and then it becomes awkward. Neither of us take one for the team

Very simple and works for us.

We always do a quick social meet first. Not out for beers or coffee but just a quick car meet somewhere halfway that suits everyone.

Like Sexy above we've had lads tell us they're looking for a ride & not marriage so they want to get straight down to business. They're the ones still at home knocking them out on their own!

Ain't letting nobody into our bed without checking to make sure there is chemistry, they're true to the profile and they're pretty sane.. It's working well so far!

Have done it both ways and would definitely have a preference to meet socially first. Though sometimes when you've struck up a good rapport with someone halfway across the country, the social meet isn't an option and you just have to risk it.

I prefer going to socials, meet and greets and nights like the Venue to meet people and take it from there. But they can be very expensive nights out for some action but they're always good fun so they're worth it..

I still do coffee meets but finding the time that fits everyone's schedule is hard.

Exactly. Long way to go for a coffee and if things are great then you have to wait a week or two for a fun meet!

It's funny that sometimes you can be chatting for ages and really click, even the flirting is good but then you meet and there's nothing. No chemistry it's like meeting a friend, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Though at least you know that way, I've never had a bad meet after meeting someone socially first but have had some awful ones the other way.

Always a social meet first. The first guy I ever met from here I made the mistake of not having a social meet initially, we didn't click in person, zero attraction to each other, it was all very awkward. It's a mistake I swore I wouldn't make again.

Most times coffee first or someone I've met through socials , but sometimes just a face pic and a few messages . Random can be hot , some of the hottest meets I've had have been totally random , but I've had some disappointments as well . Like the athelitic , 5 '11" 29 year old ; who was closer to 50 , no where near 5'11" and defenitly not athletic .

He was well verified as well .

Either Senario I won't play if I'm not attracted .

I usually meet for a social chat first, but I have had a few play meets without a social meet first.

Two of my most disappointing play meets involved a social meet first.

Meeting first for a chat is no guarantee that there will be chemistry subsequently.

It is handy to see if there's a mutual attraction I guess.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned that type of meet to be honest . I thought they were referring to playing on the first meet as aposed to having a coffee meet , and then playing on the second . I certainly was . No way I'd rock up to a hotel room with out a few social drinks or similar before hand .

Thank you for your comments, I have read them all and taken some new strategies on board.

1. Changed filters to verified people only.

2. Always meet for a quick coffee to see if there's a spark.

3. At this coffee meet get an old kiss in to see if worth a second meet for fun
