Has anyone here been to the Swinging Mecca in Berlin?

I've been alot of times and its mind blowing.

Open to singles and couples.

Thursday Gangbang is the best day for single guys. Some hired in ladies but also lots of active couples and single women. Non stop sex all over the club from 2pm to midnight, cost 95 eur for a single guy, about 50 for a couple and free for ladies. Drinks, food, jacuzzi all included.

Smaller parties on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Big parties on a Saturday night from 10 pm to 5 am.

Went a few years ago "international night" which was a Wednesday we just happened to be in Berlin us a hot US couple and about 15 creepy old guys who followed you everywhere the minute you moved.

I guess we have different ideas of "Mecca"

A few years back I read an article in the Sunday times magazine about clubs in Berlin. It described a venue with hundreds of people attending over several floors.

It also described entering the club where the gay floor was the ground floor and there was an overpowering stench of semen. ...

So definitely not hired in ladies but I'd bring my wire brush and dettol along all the same

Went a few years ago and it happened to be Insomnias birthday party and was a Saturday night. All we can say is that it was the best club night we have ever experienced. Absolutely packed with really friendly and attractive couples with some single guys too. No BBWs with home made tattoos though so if that's your thing....

By definition Insomnia is a swinger club. However in Germany is an entire industry of competing clubs. Since prostitution is a recognized profession in Berlin some club operators cross the line on occasions and hire in professionals to attract paying males. It is some times even difficult to identify who is there for the craic and who is there to win the bread. Quite disturbing indeed. The real good clubs of Berlin are usually in the surrounding suburbs

opportunities to play but no pressure, we staggered home at 6am missing a few items of clothing but very happy will def be back

I've not been to any clubs in the UK but from the ones i've been to on the continent you change immediately into play wear and store your stuff in a locker. It's quite refreshing.

This isn't as common in ireland due to a different scene, and a lack of facilities.

I've seen that done too. But it's up to the individual and isn't compulsory. I'm not disagreeing with you but I just don't see anything wrong or amusing about being clothed. I think it's all about what people are comfortable with and it's less pressure on people.

A couple of UK Fabbers gave me some great tips on Berlin so thought I would share my thoughts below.

I visited Insomnia and KitKat on a Fri & Saturday in late December. The first night in Insomnia it was a kind of Swinging 50s night and had a cool although not that kinky a crowd so I almost felt out of place wearing latex.

The second night was Saturday Night Fuck which was interesting but to be honest was super expensive (for a guy) and not all that busy. The venue is very cool, clean and well equipped. I think it very much depends on the night and mid December in the lead up to Christmas is probably a leaner night crowd wise for a place like Insomnia. It is definitely more of a kinky fetish swinger vibe than full on straight swinging but depending on the night crowd I could seeing it being amazing. For guys it can be hit and miss....but like I say I went on a quiet night.

I also visited Avarus last month. Very cool and well kitted out club but I really felt this is better suited to couples that guys flyin han solo. The night I went was very interesting...everyone had to go buck naked...with just an eyes wide shut mask
