Im sure youll be fine. The technicians will talk you through it and you can voice any concerns you have. Earplugs are provided to reduce the noise and youll be required to remain still during the procedure. Id advise you on wearing clothes that have no metal zippers , buttons etc as youll be required to change into a hospital gown otherwise

You won't panic, you'll be fine. It's a big machine, there's plenty of room. The hardest part is not moving. I closed my eyes and focused on the sound of the machine. It sounded quite musical to me. Best of luck x

If you're extremely anxious maybe ask for a little relaxant to help you before you go in. In all honesty you will be well looked after. It's very noisy and yes very confined. Try as much as you can to relax your thoughts and your body. I had a full body one a few years ago and it took quite a bit of time but the staff were amazing and talked to me through the whole procedure. Best of luck with all xx

I had one last week. Nothing to it, you'll be fine.

As someone said above, close your eyes and relax.

Oh and please remember to take out any piercings you may have. I almost forgot to take out my navel one

I was only in for about ten mins, it was just my lower back they were looking at. I'd assume the larger the area or the more complex the area, the longer the scan.

I got it for my brain .they thought i had a bleed on it a few wks ago was rushed to hospital so it was to rule out clots tumour's etc

well i was only in tunnel 15 mins suppose to be 25 so its either a good sign or a very bad sign as in right we have seen enough let her out get the doc to break the news
