I observed this posting phenomenon many times on the forum. Quoting a post with no comment or reply, not even an emoji. What does it mean or what do they want to say? That they're speechless or have clumsy fingers and hit accidentally the post button too early or to shy to say something but still want to post? What am I missing here?

Not sure how it happens but if you think about it , the " reply + quote" is actually _ quote + reply"..... sometimes rarely you see a post that is ...

Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes you've to find the reply as it could be at the beginning of the post.

Na it's not that. I think some peeps use it to bump a post they don't agree with and to expose the original poster

Sometimes the reply is in the middle of the quoted text, because sometimes people don't scroll to the very end before typing. It would be good if, in those cases, the newly added text showed up in a different colour or font.
