Not true. My fella only irons his shirts & troos when he's going out, nothing else. Ever. The bastard!

There's a skill to it apparently.

Shirts? Start with the shoulder, then do the sleeves, flatten them nicely on the board before ironing, then the back, then the fronts and finally the shoulder again and the collar

That's strange, I have to iron creases into mine or I'd look too 'nice'

Not that I've noticed, he's remarkably wrinkle free for a man that doesn't iron....

I reckon he's got another girl doing it for him.

1. Assemble Ironing board

2. Plug-in Iron

3. Place item of clothing on top of ironing board

4. Place iron on top of clothing

5. Place hand on iron

6. Move hand up and down

7. Repeat this process until all clothes are done.

If you use a tumble dryer you shouldn't over fill it and they'll come out with no creases.

Add a small bit of vinegar into the water in the iron.

I enjoy my ironing. An esthetic joy how the fabric becomes all smooth, shirts folded in sharp edges to form a stack. Trousers ironed in military precision , skirts of wife or daughters converted from a wrinkly piece of cloth into a a piece of haute coture to support the beauty of its wearer.....bliss

I know I am a bit weird
