Does any one know how long it takes from getting Sale Agreed to getting a letter of loan from the bank?

Sadly it can vary a lot between the lenders and the solicitor.

the lenders sent a valuer out to the house after i sale agreed, also we sent an engineer out and have the report back , the estate agent has sent a letter to say deposit received and solicitor sent a form of the fees that will be due.Waiting now ...... Anxiously

My mother bought an apt that is bank owned and she's been waiting 4 months next week.. when I bought mine 2 yrs ago it took a few weeks

Depends on so many things and especially which bank. Assuming you had approval in principle first though.

Anywhere between 6-12 weeks, for sale to close,after sake agreeing, depends on the conveyancing.

Getting a loan offer from the bank would have no bearing on a house being sale agreed or not, that would depend on the banks credit checks on the individuals applying for the mortgage, and the speed at which the bank processes the mortgage application.

Now if you mean drawing down the mortgage, that's different, that can be drawn down the day both solicitors agree for a closing day. Again that goes back to what I said previously, 6-12 weeks (normally)
