I saw the picture's of the aftermath when I got in from work last night. Having been over during the football and witnessin how careful they were being with security and yet still trying to get on with day to day life they were so positive. This makes me feel physically sick. At least they shot the b"*tard driving the truck

Being shot is no punishment

He doesn't get to live with the regret or the consequences of his cowardice. If he's a fundamentalist his friends and family are all celebrating today because he's going straight to heaven. It's all bollox and nonsense and if you think about it too much it will break your heart

..... Openly supported financially by a Saudi crown prince, who's second or third in line to the throne. Saudi Arabia are considered "allies" of the West. Until we get our priorities right, regarding freedom and human rights over oil ...unfortunately innocent people, like those in Nice, Paris, or indeed the hundreds of thousands of innocent iraqi civilians that bush/chaney/Blair killed while "freeing" them, will continue to be victimised.

It is so sad. I just wonder are we ever going to be able to stop these people.

In this really awful and hypocritical since about 2 weeks back over 100 people died in iraq by the biggest attack of isis yet but no thread no people crying in their soul for them, because they were not French, Capitalist nor White. Maybe if we paid more attention to our world and have the same human compation for others this kinda thing wouldnt happened,

Also ps: it happening to the French because they are heavily involved in syria! Check abit of history you mihht open your eyes

Who said the dead were white or capitalist or even french? Did the truck swerve to avoid people of colour? This isn't an attack on white people. It's an attack on innocent people.

Is it crazy that we identify with these people who largely share our cultural views, who live just over the sea from us?

Many of us know about the french history in North Africa. Who would have thought a colonial power was guilty of racist motivations. But this wasn't an attack against the french military. Or government. It was an attack against everyone and shame on you for playing petty politics at a time like this

The reality is this is the world we live in now. War is big business. For war we need enemies and I don't think the beneficiaries really care where the deaths occur. It seems the guy who did this had no terrorist connections, was not on any security watch lists. Was just a criminal with a troubled past. It's impossible for rational people to understand this mindset. Though make no mistake, this attack and all the others across the world, are part of a war for money, not idealism. That is not going to change, so we better get used to this way of being.

well you missed the message this is not about politics or military as you said its about people so you are saying people in iraq are not innocent and because we have nothing in common its ok to turn a blind eye!

If we would be more caring as human being things like this would be certainly diminished! Not care for some and turn our backs on others! Because it is this that causes hate!

Where was your thread on the bombing in iraq or any of the other atrocities going on in the world? You didn't put one up because it's easier to be the outrage police instead.

There is no excuse for murder. Full stop. Not liking someone based the colour of their skin is as stupid as not liking someone because of the colour of their eyes or hair or the pitch of their voice.

And check yourself. The only racism here was you branding the french white and Capitalist and that they somehow deserved this because we are desensitised by all the violence in the parts of the world not immediately close to us

Indeed...this kind of "war" is here for good now. And from so many directions. The killer wasn't affiliated with ISIS. And besides - ISIS - or Islamic State - are not a state, nor are they Islamic. It's a foreign proxy terror network, created, trained, armed and financed by the US and their allies in the middle-East.It's just convenient to blame these atrocities on Islam. And France, unfortunately for those poor innocents, continue to reap what they have sewn in the past in North Africa and now in Syria.

People died, young families lives have been shattered children were run down watching fireworks and there's a heated debate about Iraq/Isis/Africa or capitalist white French...

There are families very much like our own whos lives have been turned upside down some destroyed and many ended..

It's shocking because France is a country many of us have holidayed in or have friends from some even lived there!

So have a bit of savy people....

Show some respect!

Instead of moaning about double standards and hypocrisy which you clearly do not understand the meaning of, why didn't you start a fucking thread then..and pin point exactly how your bloodthirsty Islamic State/ Nazi MUSLIM friends...NOT CHRISTIANS...planted the bomb!?

I never invaded Iraq or Syria and neither did those women and children in prams in Nice!? Innocent men, women and children are still dying right now and you mate are just another vile, racist apologist for mass murder.

Wow... Have you ever wonder why France?

As i said no attack or bombing is excusable but that also include! This is not about religion, races or politics although when we look at the world we only see one side of the coin and ignore the other! If we would pay attention and put a stop to some of the oppression that our western society put on others we would realise is exactly the same evil!

And you might not agree with me and that is fine! But because someone is a muslin does not make them blood thirsty! By the way im a "catholic" there was no one more blood thirsty that CHRISTIAN!

So ask yourself!

Where is Paletine?

Why have Afghanistan been in War for 14 years or so? Please dont say 9/11 and the actions of one man trained and armed by CIA!

Did coalition ever found chemicals weapons or weapons of mass destruction in iraq?

Just to mentioned but few things

So how many innocent people have died in the hands of coalition army? How many children, women, men? Because a bomb is dropped from a multimillion dollar plane does not make it ok to kill innoncent! It is exactly the same a that crazy psycho driving that truck or planting a bomb! 250 people died in iraq 2 weeks ago in the biggest attack of terrorism this year! You wont see anyone crying their hearts out of facebook or here for them!

As long as we dont recognise that our evil is exactly of the same kind as their this wont ever stop!

So I ask you again why do you think is France the target of this attacks?

250000 deads in syria in last few years product of war where coalition is heavily involved especially france

4.5 million people fled syria!

6.5 million displaced and trapped inside syria

70‰ of the population of about 23 million without proper drinking water!

So next time maybe look at the other side of why! If we woulf all say enough is enough this kinda thing would probably wont happen as often!
