u chat to someone and then they send you a picture and there like older than you thought.why lie about your age .am just fed up of men looking like there grandfathers.is it men going on fab that cant meet women cause of there age.im lost for words.just been honest .im thinking of throeing in the towel at this point

I've had one where the guy was completely different and I didn't even know who he was when he sat down. So I told him and got up and left. Loads of people will lie but most people here are honest about their pics.

I'm one of the 'older' dudes, I don't see why anyone should lie about their age, especially if they plan on meeting.

By the way in 49 with the mind, urges and stamina of someone a lot younger

Got a mail from a guy not long ago, his age was 25 in the written text on his profile, 36 on the descriptor. When I asked how old he actually was I was told 48 Like no one will notice on meeting them!

Not much point in lying about your age as it'll only lead to disappointment. Also, age isn't restrictive anyway but I get why people have age limits.

Similar happened to me lately, age on profile said 35. His profile txt said 40. I asked him why put the wrong age in his profile and he tried to tell me he didn't fab must hadn't updated his age in five years

No need to leave over that. Yes there are some lairs on here. ..but most are genuine. Just use this as a filter...Make a few more better checks. Put in your profile if they don't look like their photo or are 5 yrs or more outside their real age you'll get up and walk no questions then just report them...simples. (And before anyone questions it...I'd say alot of people do not put their real age nor birth date on places like this for security and privacy reasons...Google is a maze for good and bad!)

Still posts here conning people.

Have met a few couples and was surprised how much older they looked than their profile pics.

We have been told we look alot younger than our ages , and recently i became a nana , and people couldnt believe when we were at a swing party , i was called very hot nana there and in the vanilla world too , so happy days all round

Cannot see the point to lie about age. Maturity as a gentleman appears to be an appreciated feature, not sure whether I had that when I was in my twenties or early thirties,at least not to today's extend. My teeth still sleep in the same room and bed as the rest of me and every gray hair is reflecting the many hours of hard work....

Lieing about ones age must be a weak personality. It is however an issue of concern among both genders in all fairness

Let's face it loads on here wouldn't meet lads over 45 years for some bizarre reasons which leads to fibbing about age to fetch a piece of the cake and I can't blame them.

I've no issue with a mature piece of meat au contraire from my experience as older the fiddle as sweater the tune. So ladies I know we all have our preferences but I can only recommend to give the older semesters a chance then having said that if you don't there is more for me to feast on.

funnily enough when a thread goes up about age limits everyone says 'age is only a number' , but that fab for you the contradictions on here are endless....
