Threat detected

When I opened Fab this morning my anti-virus detected a Trojan. The message on screen said 'Threat Detected - JS:Downloader-DFD [Trj]'

Has anyone seen any similar warnings when visiting this site?

op. no, never had any fears on the fab website (other than some of the more anatomical pics).

Are you both using Norton?

1st guess is a drive by download from the ads loading.

Try running No Script as well, maybe ublock origin. See if it keeps appearing

It appears to be a problem if you use Avast rather than the site

Last two logins ok though.

nope I use a linux os..i never get any virus warnings or attacks like that..thats the beauty of linux..come over to the dark side and leave windows behind you forever

The issue seems to be resolved now, some JavaScript was incorrectly 'flagged' because of an avast update
