Tarzan & Jane (imaginary swingers) can swing without alcohol... wondering where all you Fabbers are on this scale... what's your preference and what's your experience with other's?

Personally I can take or leave booze while playing. It's far down my priority list and thankfully don't need it as a crutch.

I prefer people to be more sober than d*unk. D*unkenness is not attractive in the slightest

I rarely drink at meets, as i'd usually be driving. If i'm staying over, maybe one or two.

There are better things to be doing at meets than drinking

I agree and take it easy myself but do get that some people need the alcohol to free their inhibitions rather than as a crutch.

Just wondered where people were at with this... I know for me and most I guess, the more I consume the less I care but I don't drink much more for safety than freeing of inhibitions...just my take on it

It all depends on the people involved, sometimes it can be good to mellow out a bit and let things develop, provided it is balanced and not one person getting plastered...

We are going to our first event on Friday. Wifey will have a few. More than 4 lol.

I rarely drink. Even though I look hammered all the time on nights out (a large hairy fat man dancing and talking the ear off people).

I dont drink at all but have no problem with a partner having a few drinks as long as they not messy d*unk.

I dont enjoy when people are very d*unk but sadly its something i have seen a lot of at meet and greets or parties.

It would seem that some like to have a skin full before playing but those are the ones i tend to avoid.
