A guy mails last week looking to meet for a social drink to which we agreed , having mailed today to make sure he was still ok we get a mail 4 hours before the agreed time that he sprained his ankle ( must be watching to much of Ronaldo )

What are the best or lamest excuses you have got from somebody cancelling on you. Now this is just a bit of craic no naming and shaming please.

I've fucked a few days after having my shoulder relocated to its proper place... she was a gorgeous much larger than me lady and loves being on top... and I had to drive to hers. Sprained ankle?? Pfft... amateur!!! Lame excuse!

Whilst driving my car home from shopping a stationary car came out of no where and crashed into me

Apparently, the guy was meeting a lady on fab... He said he was taking transsexual girlfriend shopping for tampons. Apparently, his two mates were in the car one twisted his ankle before a meet.. The another mate had an car accident, last week, while going to a fab meet.. Poor folks, what are the chances of all this happening... Feel bad for the people they were suppose to meet... They must think there telling a right cock, bull and tampon story...

To be fair, sometimes things do happen. We were all set for a party last weekend when we experienced an unfortunate bout of food poisoning.

We felt awful messaging the host that we couldn't make it (and of course it sounds like a lame excuse!), but it was legitimate.

We haven't had anyone cancel on us but our reaction would probably depend on how they handled it.

I was at a meet before and two girls and I were waiting on another guy they had arranged to come before we went up to the room. Twenty mins out of said time: he realised he hadn't paid the tax on his car. When she called bullshit an ambulance came along and parked outside his driveway. I had to do the work of two men the lazy sod.

open a google page, click images and then either upload an image or drag one in. it will show other pages that the image is on. so if a fake takes a pic from another site you can see.

I have had two good ones in last month

First one..... Got invited as a plus one to a wedding, then two days before he was silent. Got a message 24 hours before the wedding to say wedding was cancelled as the bride's sister had been injured in a crash, I phoned the hotel and was told no wedding had been cancelled wtf

Second excuse happened last weekend.... A guy offered to take myself and my friend to a party then six hours before he messaged to say he couldn't make it as he recognised one of the couple's on the guest list as friends of his parents..... I must have dumb tattooed on my forehead...

I know this thread is about excuses but I'm going to flip it around and say we've met some brilliant guys on this site and had some great times but there are a huge amount of fantasists that think they can do this. They're all chat, gonna do this and that but when when you try to arrange a meet they go quiet. That's our most frustrating thing.

This is geniune I got chatting to lady , profile hidden (not unusually but was veri ... we got on ok I thought and pics was exchanged and we arranged to meet this week for coffee... but just noticed this morning her profile is no longer on fab ....

So can I use excuse that I assume the profile is a fake and don't show up for pre arranged meet or should I take chance and still show up.

I don't know how people cancel on meets there so hard to get at times too n then d rest of us guys get a bad name then . I had a lady who was a no show 3 times , after d first time I should not have bodared but I'm a gent n like an edgit I went n tried to meet her again n again but she would not give her phone no , I had to meet in town in a busy place so she could have been there but without a phone no it's very hard to say

Same happened me...a well verified fabber. Cancelled cos her daughter was very sick and she couldn't leave her. Next day she had a new veri. Blocked me when I called her out on her lie

Here's another way of looking at it. I had a ridiculous excuse for pulling out of a meet about 3 years ago, I had a pet house rabbit who fell ill. Obviously no one was going to believe that and that would probably have featured here if I told the truth

I had to just say I got called into work. Not a big fan of lying but I think it was for the best.

This week I had my first meet planned in ages but still not fully recovered from a chest infection. I assume two days notice is time enough. I would rather not pass on germs so it will have to wait

I had three excuses in three days by different woman. Two were that their kid got injured in school so they could not text me to say they could not make it, and the third one was nuts. She said she broke her leg that morning, yet she was on fab that night saying how horny she was ha. All three were unverified so I got what I deserved I think.

i really cant understand why some guys would make lame excuses or dont show up,if hasnt the balls for even a social that doesnt say much for him or else the talent is to hot here!

We had a couple cancel on us 10 mins before we walked out the door to meet them their septic tank burst. So we drove to Dublin for a M&G party instead

Now THAT is how to handle a cancellation!

We got cancelled on at Christmas time so ended up arranging something with another guy who turned out to be one of the great fake pic/wafflers of fab. And he showed up d*unk. One comment on the way home was "Jesus, we can't give it away"

Could someone do an excel spreadsheet with a list of wafflers bullshitters fakes and knob's. Including usernames for all 6 accounts they have, excuses given and fake verifications provided because frankly I'm feckin lost here

It's worse when you arrange to meet and they just stop answering the phone. At least with an excuse they get in touch.

Iv had a few from their brother popped in and they cudnt get rid of him to meet.internet crashed and they cudnt message.she cudnt get a babysitter to mind the kids at 7pm but was still able to meet another guy the same nyt lol

iv heard quite a bit of the excuse book lol
