From chatting to a few women on here location seems to be a major stumbling block even though I drive. How much for you is location am issue?

Location is quite an issue for me.

I don't have a car so can't travel. I don't like anyone saying they'll travel a long way to meet me as I promise nothing more than a coffee on a first meet. For some that message me that live a distance away theres an expectation of more as they are travelling.

So they won't let you travel to them?

I travelled further than the last person I met for coffee...

Meath

I'd be the same.

Someone travelling from Mayo for example will be expecting more than just a coffee. Sorry.. It's a coffee. So I'm not going to have them drive that distance.

It's also a convenience thing.. You're certainly not going to get to booty call someone 250km away on a Saturday night or whatever. Whereas if the person is close by and you hit it off then there's the option of playtime without a 2-3hr drive involved.. More time for play than feckin driving.

I always end up doing the travelling! And usually cross country too! Although I agree with the added pressure if someone travelled to me. Least if I'm the one that travelled I can hop in the car guilt free and head off home if there was no connection

Most women drivers go cross country, mostly unintentionally though.

Well if a guy travels hours he will be hungry, bit mean if he can only have a coffee and not be allowed a sandwich!!

Not sure what Sub of the Day is... need to check what's on the Menu!

Location is a problem at times.

Too close is a no no - I don't wanna bump into you on my lunch break!

Too far is just Gona create frustrations

My ideal meet would live a max 40 min drive away and could accomdate and travel.

I'm 40 mins away from you think I could help lol. Jkjk.

Just to follow up on other people's thoughts I have no issue travelling long distances as if their is no attraction on their side then it means they haven't wasted a journey.

If they were travelling to me tho I would feel terrible so I get the distance issue

Location is huge, we have a young family so getting time to set aside to meet is difficult.

People usually say oh we'll drive or we can meet half way but it's not really an option and especially for unverified people.

We like the distance to be short enough that if in an emergency we can rush home or that we could have a fun night and then head home after easily.
