Friend invites?

Has anyone in the history of Fab ever accepted a friend invite from a randomer. Someone you've had no interaction with. It's a bit like the Nigerian prince giving you 17 million dollars. I have to assume it works for these people or they wouldn't keep doing it. I just find it odd as to why anyone would accept them.

I accept all invites. I've no friends only images so why not? Makes absolutely zero odds bar more status updates on my updates page

Nope, I don't. I mention it twice in my profile, so if I get a friend request from someone I've never had any contact with I know they've not bothered to read it.

Another filter, I suppose.

Lazy from their perspective? No I don't give it that much thought to be honest, if there's a request there I don't really even look who it's from I just click accept

I don't have any filters on bar unverified profiles so that anyone who wants info on a social is able to mail me, so as I said, makes no odds to me really

That answers my original question. Obviously there is a percentage in doing it because people do accept them.

Just cleared a few out who haven't replied to messages. Do that every few weeks. If they were in the hot list then they drop off that at same time.

No we don't. We also mention in our profile that random requests won't be accepted.

We friend ppl we talk to and have met.

Doesn't stop the randomers popping up though, so a sure sign our profile isn't being read

Our friends list is pretty small, really only add friends if we intend to meet or have met at parties. Rarely send a friend invite, but when we do we are always chatting to the person for a while and ask if it's ok first.

Ive friend only images so only friend people i think i can trust but if i had loads of friends my friend news feed would be swamped and it would probably start to bug me.

don't think I've ever received a friend request on this site..i think its only a gimmick anyway..its a bit like having a 1000 friends on facebook ..how many of them are actually your friends?

My rule about accepting friend request is no pic, no accept. Also I have to at least message you or you message me once. I just sent one recently but I have been talking on and off with this person for a while before I sent it. (Yes it was accepted)

that's the local weekend sport isn't it ...I'm putting on my Red shirt on Saturday..... the one good thing about it is one of the home nations goes through.
