The only way he tamed the tribal conflicts in Iraq was to be a tyrant - his tyranny removed them shit hits the fan - our western model failed to stabilise a hodgepodge of tribalism and sectarianism but his although harsh was effective . I can't see how u could apply democracy with such a polarised section of a region

I actually have said this too. The only reason isis is causing havoc now is cause hes not there to keep them in check. Lesser of 2 evils in my eyes
