Hi lovely ppl we are looking for information on places to stay in galway in late august hotels holiday parks ect and if there are any socials taking place around that time ,all feedback greatly appreciated x

Plenty of hotels in Galway. Too many to recommend one without knowing more about your preference.

Book early though - popular hotels are often full in Aug - peak visitor time.

The first weekend in Aug you can probably forget about - that is the end of Galway Race week - most accommodation is booked out months in advance, and anything that is available will be very pricey.

Most pubs in the city will have music every night - place should be buzzing there are hotels to suit every budget and they are all of a pretty ok standard. Always plenty of nice people around the city to have a drink with and show some of the hidden sights of the town.

The Pucan bar just off eyre square. It's a great boozer for music and craic

Jury's hotel close to all the pub and easy for people to come in if ur looking fr fun at the end a the night
