swinging article in the indo

There is an interesting article in the indo.

While it rang true on some aspects, I personally didn't like the article. I don't feel like it represented swinging properly. I don't see it as seedy, bdsm isnt a part of swinging at all and I don't feel like we are a group of sterotypes. She just grouped all the non vanilla lifestyle choices together and called it swinging.

I agree with the female power aspect and the rules were pretty much on point

I'm curious to see how others feel about it

Article talks more about the swing scene in the US than here.

I don't think it's in any way a true representation of swing here. Most people are just your regular person next door, none of this lawyers, high flying business people and judges crap.

I helped open the venue in blanch almost 5 years ago. That's hardly recent.

Sometimes when I read these crappy articles I think about writing one and sending it to a journalist to have published with proper info. (Obviously not names and personal info on anyone) but you get my drift.

A lot better written then other gutter trash articles but still not the full straight and honest story.

We have many spy's among us but someone is feeding them info either unintentional or in the case of some which I won't name deliberately to be the centre of attention. They walk among us be wary

This is a better written article than other previous attempts by other rags to sensationalise something that has been going on for years. It is still quite vague and after reading it you are no better off. The Sindo must be short on news again and are using subjects like this as a page filler. The are lowering themselves to tabloid level with slightly better journalism but still pointless.

There were a few really bad articles written about the bdsm scene a while back. My mates were really confused. They assumed I would wear leather chaps and carry a whip everywhere while wifey would be tied to a bed by a chain on her collar.

The people we have spoken to here have mostly been smart, emotionally mature people. Nurses, civil servants, housewives, council workers. Normal people.

I think the idea of a swinger writing an article, was a good one. But probably wouldn't be sensational enough lol
