Is this thing worth the effort?

Kind of sick of fab already I took several people's advice and made changes to my profile to make it more appealing and keep seeing people on about time wasters on here. I'm very genuine on here and can barely get a response from anyone

you have had 2 x meets in the last week ? id say thats good going to be honest ! The thing is , unfortunately theres 10000000000000000000000000000 single men on here , all looking for a meet . This lark is a game of patience , your young and handsome no dout , so you already have a slight advantage over lots of other guys . Patience is the key .

Ya there are way too many single guys on here I'd say. Its kinda difficult to stand out or break into the "clicks". Thank you for the kind words though

Patience is defo the key for here, at times it could be a few months between meets, other times it can be a few in a row.

Age has a bit to play with it too, i am defo on the wrong side of 40 for most on here.

Ya the age thing does seem to be a huge thing here also. The amount I can't message because they have a limit set of 30 is huge. But I think age is merely a number anyway. We are all here for fun and to meet new people too.

Have had some great meets through fab, most definitely worth waiting for at times. Always try to be yourself is what i find that works best for me, and never react bad or rude if a person aint interested. Just be polite and move on...

too much smart assessment around who don't know when to smart ass and when not...but one gets to know them very quickly...that's a plus point.

Patience and be polite try to be positive in posts and use your status in a positive way...add a new pic ever so often....listen and don't be pushy. All the best mate.

Hey one thing we find getting to know ppl is going to events, socials or M&G's it's the only way you'll get yourself out there and mix with everyone, there is so many single blokes on here but the ones that make the effort n go to these gigs go a long way on here so my advice would be to keep your eyes on forums etc n get yourself out there there is always something coming up on d horizon put in to go and if u get an invite make sure u go xxxNoraxxx

Have yet to go to any, maybe will do some time. Maybe just the nervs of foing to a place alone has gotten the better of me. Or the fact of bumping into some on i know, suppose they would be there for the same reason...

If you're a single guy and you're not willing or able to go to social events and be seen then it reduces your chances here. It shows you're making an effort and will help your credibility.

It shouldn't be that way, but alas for guys it is.

Haha, guess all guys are hoping for meets straight away.

Was well over 5 months before i got my first meet here.

Realistically though, judging from another irish site when i looked up the figures; there was less then 10,000 females, 20,000 or so couples and about 75,000 blokes signed up to the site.

A good percentage of profiles where probably old profiles or ones only set up and hardly ever used.

Plenty of timewasters on there as on all sites, but defo a shit load more single blokes then couples or females.

I've never been to any here ( my choice), yet I have got to know quite a few people here, some through long chats others in person. It's about networking, some find socials best some don't.... but main thing is show respect and you'll get it in return. I notice you've had a few meets......try repeats if you can, some women prefer some only want one offs but they usually improve each time as you get to know the likes and dislikes and how their body and yours responds.

BTW, I think you handled yourself on this post well.

PS....DON'T not meet if agreed. I know some who have admitted to seeing the person and as they didn't look like their pic just turned and walked and gave some excuse. That shows a selfishness and total disregard to the other person's efforts and time. Even if you think...oh shit...don't say it...have a coffee chat and you may find that they have a great personality and you at least make a friend.

Totally feel your pain buddy.. Iv had a few couples even make plans and then just not reply last minute etc.. Pain in the arse especially when we all just want to have fun
