How do you repair a scratched cd?

No its not 1996, Kaizer has been rooting through his vault for old tuneage and came across a right humdinger of an album but it's got a big dirty scratch on it

Is it fucked????

Wipe toothpaste over it and polish gently when it's dry then rinse if it's not too bad it works I have done this with Xbox discs

The likes of GameStop have polishers for scratched games/dvd's etc, have had a few scratched ones polished and they worked grand.

You need to use something mildly abrasive. I usually stub my little toe on a table leg then swear at the CD. Never works but the venting is marvellous.
