If you were chatting to someone and it all seems to be going ok but then you look at veris and they are from someone you don't particularly like..

It's not actually what they said, just the person who did the verifying?

Would it put you off them?

This has happened a lot to me. More so down to some people's arsey behaviour in the forums and then seeing they are a veri for someone I'm currently talking to. It more so makes me cautious than puts me off. We all see people differently I suppose

I had someone say it to me this morning about a girl he was chatting to. Said he knew a few guys she had met and he hated them so wouldn't meet her..at first i was like oh no but when I thought about it I was kinda like oh I think I've done that before.

I'm not sure why.

It's like I don't like that person but they did so they must be the same and I won't like him either.. Like your mind playing tricks on you if that makes sense.

The Forums seem to be the same, if one has a bit of banter with someone and another person doesn't like that someone then "by association" they don't like you.

It's just FAB but even in real life it is the same.

If someone you like is having a drink in a pub with someone you don't like... do you join them?

The verification is there to verify if the person is real or not.

Whether person X met person Y and did or did not get along, should have no bearing whatsoever since each relationship is unique between any random person X and Y.

So, in this case I am afraid we are letting ourselves be a little bit too Irish...

I see a veri as saying we met they turned up and are what they describe in their profile anything after that has to be experienced as a meet with one person will not dictate how future meets will turn out

I've done it in the past (I admit) and have since been proved wrong in my assumptions on people after meeting them in person. Since then I don't judge from verifications at all.

Either they know something about them that they don't want to go public with or its bitterness and jealously.

I'm fairly sure that somewhere along the way someone has gotten in someones ear and warned people off me. That just means one of them is a cunt and the other is easily led. Either way I dodged a bullet.

Over the years I've had play partners who in turn had played with people I just couldn't stand. One persons scum bag is another's best friend. Verifications don't show you how you will get on with someone so I wouldn't let it stop me deciding if I wanted to play with them

I was supposed to meet a well verified woman off FAB who cancelled at the last minute saying her child was sick.

Next day she had a new veri on her profile from the day before when we were supposed to meet.I called her out on this and she was very ignorant and blocked me...

A few months later at a social in Dublin she met a lady friend of mine who had verified me and was extremely rude to her because she had verified me.

Now that is totally wrong and this ignorant woman should not have done that because this lady had verified me.

Happened to me , it was a couple that asked for a meet. One of the verifications was from a person I did not actually like. A person to be avoided. But I still went ahead with the aranged meet. Various discussions on Kik and texts followed ,

Gave out personal details to the couple , as in address. They cancelled ten minutes before the meet. Reason being they met someone earlier , and in their words , sorry too wrecked now.

So maybe you are right. I don't think I will entertain a profile with verifications from someone else I would avoid
