After i had a very educative excourse about the meaning of "discreete" in the context of the FAB platform, I wonder whether you guys can reveal the meaning to another term which in my eyes has morphed into an empty word bubble. Well but that is only me with my bleedin' foreigner mind set and the lack of skills in reading between the lines in the Irish version of English.

So what does this to the excess used word "genuine" mean for you

To be honest, it means very little to me. I think it's a word some people use to emphasise that they will turn up if a meet is arranged. When I see it used, I think "I'll be the judge of that". In other words, I don't think genuine is defined by ourselves but by others, so for someone to define themselves that way makes me think twice.

The only context I would take it on fab is that they exist. Nothing more, that would be all I would mean if I wrote it on a verification anyway.

DISCREETE = some people can keep their mouth shut, some can't, many years ago in a foreign land, I was told, say nothing till you hear more..

I recently came around to this way of thinking. I know I'm genuine but it's up to others to decide that based on my actions and previous verifications, so I removed the word from my profile. Now to me, on fab, that word is unnecessary.
