Whats the kindest thing somebody has ever done for you? A lovely gesture or something like that. I think simple/ small things are lovely. Where I worked everyone put a small bit of money in a handmade card for my birthday and made a cake.the kids thought it was great and got class time off to go baking. I thought it was a lovely, kind gesture. Have u any to tell?

i had a housemate in college sit up with me all night when I was at an all time low. I'm still here because of his kindness and he never asked any questions

So many people have been really kind to me, it's hard to think of them all. I have a friend who sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers one year for mother's day, totally out of the blue. I have a few really good and kind people who have helped me out financially when I've been badly stuck. But I think that possibly the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me was when my friend, having spent several days trying to fix my washing machine for me (and failing), went home, disconnected his own washing machine and brought it back to me. People are generally kind, I think. But I really think that someone giving something that they need themselves to someone whose need is greater is a truly kind and generous thing to do.

I've had lots of kindness shown to me, but most recently I woke up on May Day and my neighbour had very kindly scattered May flowers on my door step and that of all my other neighbours.

Kind and thoughtful x

My town

Being kind is not just by giving something even nice words just thinking of someone is nice. The other day a friend of my late mum sent me a picture of my mum with her friends..with just the words she's always with us.
