We have a trip to Galway planned soon. Never been there before. Therefore would appreciate your advice on the day and night attractions.

Hit Quay Street and Spanish arch

Full of Galway culture and craic

Drive to salthill

Simply beautiful

Then whistle for the lion

Galway is a fantastic place I originally came from Galway there is a good night life in eyre square and the people are so friendly the sceff is good place

Only one place to eat in eyre square ... After everywhere else is shut. It's tasty and tempting and I also scored more there than I did in most of the night clubs

Fiddlers bar on eyre sq is quite good coyote ugly bar used to be a laugh as well

Well, we want to explore the city a little and go for a walk somewhere nice. Any recommendations where to go for lunch/dinner? And of course go mad for the night Considering it being a weekday, would be good to know in advance any place were we wouldn't be the only visitors for the night..

Connemara is a little to far from city. We only have a day so the time is the issue. Unless some locals will prove it worth staying another day

Stick to Quay street for a great selection of bars & restaurants where you can win & dine al fresco (weather permitting!)
