Funniest excuses for no show

I know this was done a while back but it always raises a giggle.

What's the funniest excuse you've heard from a time waster for a no show?

Ours has to be a dogging meet with a male. We're waiting for him to arrive so we send a message and he tells us he's just realised his car tax is up so he can't make it

Any other gems out there?

One ever had one - many moons ago when i was far more trusting of local single males ....

Twisted ankle whilst training.

I think it's all about building rapport and trust before meeting someone in person so they feel confident meeting.

They need to feel confident you aren't a freak and be fairly sure of some level of compatibility.

Its easier to meet girls on plenty of fish ..there is a huge stigma attached to this site over trust ,its a meeting site but yet loads are just to bullshit and to stroke their egos

Females on POF aren't generally ONLY meeting for sex. Most I saw when I was on there tended to lose interest if i was upfront about only wanting sex. When it comes to sex, the females are the gatekeepers (as many guys would generally fuck anything). This means the girls get to pick and choose. If the choice was yours wouldn't you choose the hottest you could?

Stigma attached to trust? Yea I'm going go meet some guy I've never met before in a hotel/ his house/ work etc. And if you'd any sense you wouldn't meet people like that either.

Ha. I had a guy say he had to go to his mother in laws funeral. Could have told me when she died which was obviously a couple of days before that.

He might have been too busy celebrating

My one no show (touch wood it stays that way) was put down to a migraine. We'd already had coffee so I think she just never had the nerve to go all the way. She disappeared for several months then came back again seemingly all keen before vanishing once again

I'd met this guy for a coffee too and he seemed all keen. I'd got cover at work, taken the night off and was all set. Have to say I was pretty peed off but I guess it's all part of it. Thankfully and hopefully it was a one off.

I went and checked in to the hotel as it was a morning meet the next day (didn't want to be THAT obvious) and the migraine kicked in overnight.... Had to go back the next day to check out again

The best one I had was I was told she had a flat mate living with her and she gave me the estate name, which wasn't too far away.

We agreed to meet and I was supposed to text when I got to the estate, so I did however the flat mate had returned and all was cancelled!

I think she just used the vibrator and said let him F**k O**

Agreed to meet a Unverified guy for coffee I was sitting in coffee shop waiting for him when he mailed and said sorry he could not come in because his mother was in there

But then also said he did not want to disappoint me so he could meet me in the public toilet across the road for a bit of fun

I told him ask his mother to meet him

Was on another site when we first started out. A cpl were mailing us for a few weeks trying to get a time to suit us all. Finally arranged a night and time

2 hours before we left to go meet them we get a text that the wife had fallen off a horse and hurt her neck.

2 days later they had a veri from another cpl for that night
