Day 14.. The last leg..

Dublin West

So it was alarm at 4.45 am looked out the window in hope it would be dry..it wasn't.. 4.5 hrs in the rain on my own not the way I wanted to start the day but that's what I got.

Crawled into Arklow.. people buzzing about the place. People excited. Just one more day..

And so we headed north and the sun made an appearance. A day of mixed emotions. Some joy but some thoughts of the ones I have lost. A great reception into Dublin with people clapping and sounding their car horns..

And so I rolled across the finish line. A tear or two in my eyes as much in relief as anything else.

So it was 14 days

107 hours.

2247km

70,000 cals burned.

3kg weight lost.

1.5 tubs of chamois cream

1 box of nurofen extra strength

Hundreds of emails and messages pushing me on when my body wanted to quit.

1 broken body but inside my head I'm smiling...

So that's me finished annoying you all till next year.I thank all of you that took an interest in my progress and my struggles.

It's OK not to be OK..

And it's absolutely OK to ask for help..

Sean.

The numbers are staggering, the dedication is inspiring and the work you've done is priceless.

Time to put your feet up for a bit, if you can raise them

Amazing stuff, Sean.

Sean you have my total respect and you earned it no better way to get it. The reception CAS got along the route over the 14 days was exceptional and while I only got to experience over a half of it I'm privileged to have been part CAS 2016.
