Darkness Into Light

Im pretty sure like myself, there was plenty of people who got out of their beds at silly o'clock this morning to take part in the Darkness into Light walk to raise awareness for suicide, a cause which is not given enough recognition as it should be in this day and age!

So I just wanted to say a massive fair play and congratulations to everyone single one of you who took part in the walk!

You all should be extremely proud of yourselves! I hope you all had a fabulous time (I know I did, plenty of laughs and giggles along the way!) and I have no doubt that all your loved ones gave you the push to make it to that finish line!

and always remember its ok not to feel ok xx

Yes it's close to so many people's hearts nowadays and a shame it is getting so prevalent

Well done all and also the cycle against suicide for their efforts over the last 13 days of the tour of Ireland

Having been in that dark place I can tell you that both your loved ones probably had a million valid (to them) reasons why they were doing the right thing. It wasn't intended to be a selfish act in the majority of cases

Until your so low that life is not for going on any more .

No one will Truely understand the feeling in your mind and soul.

It is hard on the family's let behind but think for a moment what it must of been like for that person to think.that waz the best call for every one.

Took part in the 1 in Laois it was a amazing turn out some people see it as a selfish act some people go through so much pain and hurt they don't see any other option you have to be in that position to understand it I was and I look back now and say how stupid I was life does get better there is light at the end no matter how dark it gets I would love for people to just stop and think what there doing and how many lives they will shatter I'm apart of a group now to support people if anyone would like to chat or want support please get in touch people do care the mental health has grown to be a big problem

Well done to each and every one you that participated in the walk yesterday! Great to see so many people willing to help good causes like this! Unlike the government who seem like they couldn't give a f*ck..but I'll not get started on that!

One thing I will say is none of us can even begin to imagine what is going through a persons head, when they decide it's their time to leave this life, but to them at that moment it is the right choice. Although we may be angry with them for choosing that, we do have to remember unfortunately they could not see a light at the end of the tunnel.

So that is what from now on, Us, the Irish people as a unity we have to help raise awareness and show people there is always light at that end of the tunnel and that it is certainly

OK not to be OK!

xx
