Dublin West

So I arrive at the eve of the last day.

Tonight I passed the 2000km mark and I now have 2095km done...

I won't lie but I'm in bits. The body has had enough but the mind is stronger and I won't give up.

Tomorrow at 5am I leave for Arklow to meet up with the others and cycle the last 2 legs back to RTE in Donnybrook.

I know once I can get as far as Arklow I will be ok as the strength of those around me will carry me home.

It's fitting to see others talking about the darkness into light tonight and I commend anyone that's doing it for their efforts.

This has been tougher than I imagined but the support I have received has pushed me on when I was ready to quit.

People are mailing me thanking me for highlighting the issue which means I have achieved something.

It's ok not to be ok.

And its absolutely ok to ask for help..

Stay strong people.. tomorrow will be a great day.

Sean

Your journey may be coming to an end but the work you've done and awareness you've raised will last a lifetime. I must admit I'd never heard of CAS before your posts.

Amazing drive and committment, Sean. All my support for the last leg!

Tomorrow will be an amazing day Sean!

You have achieved something great. Your own personal journey AND making people aware.

If even one person is helped by your journey (im sure hundreds if not thousands have been) then that makes it worth every second!

ITS OK TO NOT BE OK

Be proud, good luck and stay safe for the last leg.

Thanks again

Siobhan x

My sentiments exactly

Fair play Sean, your an inspiration. Amazing what the body can do when the mind is the pushing force. Hopefully you have something good planned to celebrate the end xx

I'd imagine a cool, dry morning would have been preferable Sean but life isn't like that so you'll just have to power home in the rain. Some of us were out doing the darkness into light walk raising more awareness about this awful sadness but my hat is off to you sir for your commitment. Thank you.

Well done mate a great achievement to complete the whole journey of the CAS.

I feel so ashamed that I did not get out and cycle on of the legs.

Thanks to you the awareness is been kept out there.

Well Done
