Fake or genuine profile

Hi guys,

Can anybody offer advice how to recognise fake profiles. Lately we got very concerned over some members we got contact with. Is there any specific signs?

Verications help , but just not the one only veri from a year ago google image is helpfull too , and if a profile is too good to be true , then its prob fake , if its a cpl or single female ur looking for , always ask to speak to the female and male if a cpl on the fone , gut instint too , hope that helps

Simple test such as - female to female chat on phone and preferably on Cam would put many fake profile to rest.. We don't waste anytime with anyone unless we see them on cam first ..

Don't do 'dirty chat' early on - or at all. Some 'couples' and single men are here just for wank chat they won't ever meet

I'm real.

One thing you can do is agree to meet at an intersection where there are multiple buildings over looking it.

Make sure one is a cafe.

Go into one of the buildings and wait and when you see them arrive you can perv them from a safe distance. If they are not who they say they are send them a text saying "sorry, I cant make it".

Watch them rage out etc, then go home and say you knew they were not the person in the pics.

If they are the person in the pics send them a text "meet me in the cafe, will be 2 mins".

then send the photos of them to your friends and say "meeting this guy, if you don't hear back send photos to police".

If they want to take the conversation to Kik or Whatsapp straight away before even chatting then I find that a bit strange. What's wrong with a few messages on here?

They ask for additional pics and are straight into asking what do you do on a meet, then that's a bit of a give away that they are just looking for wank material.

They only seem to message late at night (probably when the wife is asleep) and/or the 'wife' is always away with the kids or work.

Now, we all have things we do and don't do to keep ourselves safe, but if it seems too good to be true it probably is.

Too eager, too vague or too insistant for you to break your rules to satisfy them.

Oh, and no profile pic, no public pics or just family photos to appear like a couple.

Maybe it's just me, but I've gotten quite cynical over the last year or so.

Just read ur first part. It is much easier interact on kik then here. Most women here get umpteen amount of messages and even though she replied to u once, she coukd come back to her inbox flooded with mail and miss your one.

I'm not talking about using Kik in general, I mean the opening message is

'Hi, I'm *****. Want to chat? My Kik name is *****'

I get this a lot. Usually from a 'single woman looking for fun' profile.

Or a 'couple' profile with no pics or text on their profile.

I'm sure you know the ones

sound advice from the ballad . Ladies especially cant be too careful , there are some absolute nut jobs on here , I have heard of people being kept against their will in hotel rooms , assaults and all manner of unsavoury behaviour . Obviously the dynamics are slightly different for couples meeting others , but for single people meeting strangers the advice is spot on .

Only yesterday I was talking on kik to a " couple " the female aparently. The talk got dirty very quickly and looking for dirty pics. I instantly got suspicious and said it. I've spoken to many women as part of couples and just got the feeling something wasn't right. So I nicely said goodbye and blocked. More fool me for giving an unverified profile a chance. Never ever again.

Its patently obvious when a profile is fake... No validations, face pics in public, photos all from the same 'session'.....

Thanks all you guys for involvement in this. Some very good comments and food for thought. Woth all that of yoir help, we'll figire them all out. The one thing I see no logic when ot comes to site rules, is that you can't repprt potentially fake, abusive, bullying, etc, profiles, unless you're a site supporter. It's like if you don't work and pay no tax, you can't report a theft of your property to the police honestly, who is willing to pay money before even getting a chance to check what that site has to offer??
