Ok folks! As promised, the hotel is booked, deposit paid and we are ready to get the ball rolling and take names for invitesPlease email this profile and give me your email address for the inviteThis event will open at 8pm and bar closes at 1230pm, there will be finger food etc on the night and DJ to keep us all bopping awayThe price is €15 per head. This is to cover the price of the food, room hire, DJ etc. Any monies left never will be donated to Focus IrelandWe will be going through the invite requests during the wk and sending out initial invites next week. As always, please keep all info to yourself, if anyone is asking you about location etc, if they were invited then they will have the same info as you so no need to tell them!Numbers are limited and you need to be meet verified in order to attend, and we will be asking to see your verifications.Only afew wks to get it all in place now so roll on the 30th

You'll be grand, there's no need to be nervous. Just think of it as any other night out, once you've some social skills you'll fly it. Might be worth going along to the pre drinks that laid is organising ( there's a thread somewhere!!), at least that way you'll have got chatting to w few people beforehand

Lol I think I managed to get a flogger and doc brown got me a tie! But sure all the stuff was there to be taken so I'm glad it went to good use! They were all given by a very generous lad from the shop that the business cards were on the table, so a big thanks to him aswell as he dropped it all up to us yesterday

I know it's a lot of extra work, but how would it be if you took all the names of the people going and worked out a seating plan? That way, at the start of the night people might be able to work out who's who by reading the seating plan. I know people don't stay in the one place all night, but at least you'd have some indication of who's there and where they'd been sitting.

I did bring name labels to one social and asked if anyone wanted them but they didn't on the night! It can be hard though to know who everyone is, I don't think I would do a seating chart as I don't know who gets on with who or who has beef with who etc, and then I would be responsible for causing WW3 lol

I know it's not a perfect plan. But there might be ways to tweak it that would work. I was looking at someone on the night trying to figure out who it was, and only realised when they posted on this thread! Damn

We are the same the night was over way to fast and so many people we would have loved to meet
