whats the stupidest thing you ever did

I have done a few in my time,but one i wont forget was when i was asked by a band,to stand in and play guitar and sing at the last minute at a talent competition,each band had to do three songs,i only had 24 hours to learn the words and chords off,now the first two i learned off,but the third song i was having trouble remembering the words to,so i wrote them down and stuck them on the top of my guitar,so there i was strutting my stuff on stage loving the limelight as you do!then came the third song i knew the first verse off by heart,then looked down on top of my guitar to read the rest,well i nearly died on the spot.i had written the words in red pen and the stage lights overhead were red so all i could see was a red page.i ended ip singing the first verse three times and made up the rest.one good thing i was lucky the lights were red as nobody could see how red i blushed.

iv done a few stupid things in the past a lot of them would get me in trouble with the boys in blue.

but one thing the springs to mind was I kept calling a girl by the wrong name when we where in bed so she bit my banjo string off that was nearly 20 years ago and I still remember her name now lol

Was that the same one tried to run you over or another nutter

One night in Naas after meeting a lovely couple, my male friend said follow me back to Dublin. A half hour later I ended up in Kildare, followed the wrong car, phone battery dead and 3am . I eventually got home at 5.30am. I never told him or the couple of my little detour. Too embarrassed for being so stupid

I replaced a window in a flat with a batch if dodgy putty.

Next day I woke up and was leaning out the window getting fresh air when I realised I hadn't actually opened the window...

You can guess what had happened..
