Depends which head I am thinking with. I prefer both naturally.

Beauty is subjective however a good personality tends to be objective. I never consider them to be mutually exclusive.

I am no oil painting so I don't judge anyone purely on looks. But a nasty personality or lack of personality is always a turn off regardless of the packaging.
