Yes I believe so , my last work place had a lot of freaky going ons , lots of banging noides heard by a lot of different staff, foot steps , doors closing and stuff like that , but the one that sticks in my mind was when I was there one saturday morning and through the corner of myright eye I seen a boy about sixteen in sort of upto date close walk by a door the lead out to a store area , I walkex out thinking he had walked in from the street but the door was locked and shutter down , he was gone in seconds , ididnt notice coldness or any strange feelings , just came and went pardon the pun , also ky friend worked for a bakery and when he was a boy he swore he had seen a ghost of a man in the bakery

I used to own a house and shared it with one that i clearly seen on multiple occassions. Discovered just before i moved out that my sister seen her a lot as well, she wouldnt say to me in case it freaked me out.

I suspect it's the arrogance of our species who believe we are too important to just die like the other species on our planet.

The most likely possibility is that we die, just the same as all other life on this planet eventually dies. We are just another species amongst millions of others here that will also die. We are so full of our own self importance that we simply can't accept that there isn't anything more complicated than that, and our wondrous spirits must live on somehow.

Ann my own opinion of course. I could have it all wrong. It's just a lot more believable than other theory's I've heard.

And below is a piece I found:

its actually more of a heat energy we radiate out when we die..not much mind you but that is still atoms and particles that are released from us into the environment

I quite like the idea of fertilising a tree or something when I die. And the atoms that make up my body getting nourished by the sun and the water, and becoming part of something else, over and over for the millennia until the earth is consumed by the sun, which will eventually explode and scatter my atoms all over the universe.

Also, how one every other life form is able to live and flourish on their own without the help of angles and spirits etc watching over them, but humans, by far the most intelligent and powerful creatures, suddenly aren't capable of looking after themselfs so these spirits decided we are the ones that need looking after. Doesn't make sense.
