Hotels yes once youre a resident. All pubs are closed on good friday except for those who give you a lock in as a regular drinker. Its the only other day of the year apart from xmas day that pubs close. The off licences and supermarkets do a roaring trade on the thursday where folk stock up. Cant understand that myself but each to their own.

Yes, the bars will be closed but if you're staying in a hotel you might be able to get a drink!!

Don't take a chance though, but some drink the day before or just phone the hotel beforehand to see that they will open the residents bar!!

No,as you can see, he asked if he would 'be able to have a drink' on the day and if 'all bars will be closed'.

There's quite a few 'haunts' you could hit around the city, but I'd recommend you stay clear of Temple Bar, rip off prices!

Hit the Guinness storehouse, decent pints there...

Enjoy your weekend either way

I wouldn't be too apologetic Kenny. You asked a few questions and they were answered one by one.

Somebody's fruit went sour and he decided to hurl it at someone.

I hope you enjoy Dublin during your stay.

Try the Jameson Distillery in the city ctr if you have time. Great tour.

Tony.

Probably controversial but I like the fact no drink sold on Good Friday. Surely one day without it is good for people.
