"Gp and a good physio is definitely the best route. I had trouble with my back for years .. Did it out in the end quite badly. My back is near perfect now which I never thought id get to. Asides from the work I put in to fix it, it turned out a couple of things were really aggravating it quite bad .. I had a good mattress but turned out I needed it changed. I had a habit in the night of rolling onto my stomach .. With that mattress I Sort of was hyper extending my back .. Caused a lot of problems. Id also got into lots of little bad habits lifting and shifting weight around (as in daily general lifting ) .. I would over arch my back .. Pull weight with my shoulder allowing the tendons to take the weight .. A lot of bad stuff like that. I also got into a really bad habit of sitting leaning forward with my legs open (.. steady on now !!) basically like a really bad deep squat. This was completely fucking my back. Anyways my point is,.. A lot of times it can be little bad habits or environmentally such as your mattress, seating etc .. Totally went over my head until I had a problem so bear it in mind before you go to gp and physio. As my physio said to me .. A lot of times things like these can be the problem and its really important to find out HOW its being aggravated as opposed to just medicating for the pain. My 2 cents .. Hope something in there helps!" Ok no more squatting lol but seriously thanks a million

"You probably feel worst in the morning. Avoid sleeping on your back and tried lying on your side with your knees tuck up towards your chest. This will help keep your liwer back stretched out as your muscles contract when you sleep. Put a pillow between your k ees for comfort. First thing when you get out of bed spend 10 mins on a bit of yoga back stretches. You'll find them on YouTube. I've done this when my back was at me and it helped. I often do lower back stretches with my clients after long runs. They are really important. " Thanks hun will try all the above tonight although it tends to get worse as day goes on

Particularly lying on my side in bed with knees up and a pillow between them .. Gave great relief from the pressures in my hips etc ..

"When do you get relief, when you arch your back back or round forward, but as everyone says physio best bet, I,d go physio before chiropractors, just my opinion, suffer back pain myself, not nice" Arching back kills me, forward relieves the pain

"Having done it all, MRIs, Physio, Pain Relief etc etc. Have got to say the only relief the Manbeast ever truly gets is after a good session of neck and spine cracking with the Chiropractor. "
