Sales craze

I just dropped a friend of mine to a next sale this morning @ 7AM and went in to have a look as I never go to anything like that. 7AM and there are people frantically running around filling plastic bags with clothes like they are going out of fashion. Decided I'll wait in the car...

I assume some sort of adrenaline kicks in for bargain hunters? Half of them look like they could kill you for getting in their way Like a zombie apocalypse movie..

Most of it probably is going out of fashion.

It's interesting how a big red sign with the word SALE in big writing can affect people. I also love the trick of the label that says WAS €150 NOW €30. Like it was ever that price to start with. Saving money, even on something they don't want or need seems to tempt people into handing over money freely.

I'm a sucker for a sale, but as my dad rightly points out to me, your not saving money if you weren't gonna buy it in the first place! So now if I see something in a sale I ask myself would I have paid full price for it, if the answer is no then I put it back

I went to a sale once and by jesus never again. A herd of cattle would be easier to deal with.i bought stuff for the sake of buying it and recently donated it to a charity shop cos i never wore them. They didnt suit me or look right on me. There was no chance i was gonna try the things on in the shop! i since learned that shops mark prices up to mark them down again. Psychological babble to make us (the consumer) think we ve got a bargain.
