Guys im in the middle of taking over a bar in the Midlands and I am thinking of holding a swingers only night ether once or twice per month. This would be an event with full bar service music and Sexual fun anywhere in the lounge area. Loads of blankets provided for comfort. It will be secret event so front door of the bar would be locked with only access thought back door. Who would be interested

How secret do you think this event would be? If it's a public bar don't the public have to be offered entry, do you think this secret would hold long in a rural bar? Bar staff talk to people like....

Yep, it's an admirable idea but I can see it being difficult to accomplish. I know the Midlands well so I'm curious to know the location, not that it's any of my business.

Fair play if it works, but it won't be easy.

I'm just trying to see if there is interest there for this. If not I wouldn't be running it. Iv been to a public house in the UK that runs the same kind of nights once a month.

Huge difference between the UK and the Midlands of Ireland, is it in a small community or a town center?

Where do people get changed?

Have you shower facilities?

Will you be supplying more than blankets? Condoms etc?

There's a lot more to it than you think.

sounds like a recipie for disaster . Licenced premises have several restrictions regarding distasteful conduct , last thing you want is a court conviction for the keeping of a bawdy house . There is several differences in u k law and irish law , there is no licencing body here in the republic for swinging clubs . Tread carefully or you wont be running that bar for long when you come in front of a district court judge for suitability of applicant . !

We'd be interested in socials in a midlands venue but not sure how you marry a public bar & a full on swingers night. Reckon they cannot go hand in hand.

Locals ain't gonna drink pints in a place if they think others have been fucking on tables the night before. We definitely wouldn't.

Take a fools advice , for what its worth.Hold the function as a meet and greet, plain and simple .All you would have to do is corden off the lounge . Run the pub as usual,put security on the lounge door, private function in progress ect . fill the lounge with people. no playing allowed. Everybody will have a good old drink and nights craic . Proper/genuine swingers will have their rooms booked locally. so if the horn gets the better of them they will make a quick getaway to the B+B/hotel.You wont be breaking any laws and you wont come into any conflict or arouse any suspicion. And you will be doing Fabs a great service, and meeting a great deal more swingers probably than if you actually held a party.

Fools advice part two.After you held maybe a few of these functions through time , you would make friends /contacts build up a network. After a while you would have the contacts to help you organise youre own parties, close bye and away from the premises , with full play participation .A great many genuine swingers wouldn't touch the scenario youre proposing for fear of some creepy journalist, exposing it say in the sunday world.Also to be involved in such a gathering ,its highly likely the participants would indeed be breaking the law themselves and everybody would be aware of this, and fear of this would keep genuine swingers away .Besides do really want to risk youre business and deposits ,investments ect on this . If you do it the way the fool says you wont be risking anything.In fact the greater the success youre in pub party would be the greater the chance of you getting busted.Which I wouldn't like to see. I admire youre enthusisiam and guts but , just box clever and be paitent.It would all fall into place . don't mean to be pissing on youre party.
